To cast curly hair is to apply product to wet hair allow to air dry, though some will diffuse on a cool setting I prefer to try and avoid now completely.
The product allows curls to form and causes a hard cast around them. Once hair is completely dry you break that cast to reveal a natural styled curl. This breaking the cast is often referred to as Scrunch Out The Crunch! SOTC! Some people prefer clapping it out.
I scrunch with a little oil in my hands. This can help in preventing frizz, I’m using an oil that is reported to assist with new growth as I’d really love some length back to my hair. This oil maybe a bit heavy over time so it’s a trial and error.

So. Who wants the results?
